Description
The Wilson Ultra racket range is back in its fifth edition. This version further emphasises the power offered to free you from all limits except one: the baseline. The innovations also promote tolerance and control. This Wilson Ultra 99 Pro V5 racket will be ideal for advanced players seeking controlled power, and the colour scheme combining electric blue and turquoise will enhance your game.
Benefits for the player:
This Wilson Ultra 99 Pro V5 racket is a new addition to the range, offering an option with more control for the most demanding players while maintaining the iconic power of the Ultra range.
It incorporates new technologies such as Si3D. This is a subtle combination of vertical, horizontal, and torsional stability of the racket, resulting in an excellent balance between power and control. Work has also been done on the grommets to provide more tolerance and power on impact.
It weighs 305 g with a balance of 32.5 cm to offer significant stability while still allowing you to generate speed thanks to its slightly head-heavy balance.
The 639 cm² head size is versatile but will offer a slight bonus in control compared to a 645 cm² head size.
The 16x18 string pattern will generate a high level of spin and also deliver plenty of power.
The racket’s Dual Taper Beam profile (22-24-21 mm) will provide versatility, and its square shape will favour control.
This 5th version of the Wilson Ultra racket improves its tolerances (+/- 5 g on weight and +/- 7.5 mm on balance) to provide you with more consistency and better uniformity if you use two rackets.
Player type:
Advanced players looking for a versatile and stable racket.
